Pupil Voice – You Matter!
At Oyne School, we believe that pupils should have their voices heard. We work hard to consult our pupils and families on the things that matter to our school and community and the children enjoy being involved in planning what and how they learn.
Every fortnight, every child is involved in a ‘Learning Circle’ where a statement relating to an aspect of school life is discussed. Every child is able to give their opinion and their ideas – all of which are recorded by the Circle Leaders (our P6/7 pupils).
This feedback is the considered as we reflect on our pupils’ views regarding our strengths and areas for improvement. Action points are identified and acted upon – this leads to school improvement which is driven by the pupils.
